Hullo there all.
I'll try to finalise arrangements this week, unfortunately our contact at Dortmund has been on holiday (slacker).
Muttley, Mick, Danny and Derek - can you all send me details of when you'll be in Dortmund, where you're staying etc?
I'd like to meet everyone on Tuesday evening to discuss where, when and how regarding the presentation.
At the moment i know it'll be in the main square early on Wednesday afternoon, and that the TA fire engine will be allowed to take the kids to the stage (just from around the corner).
Alternatively we can meet on Wednesday morning.
One thought is that it'd be cool for the kids to have scotland flags on sticks to wave about as they approach the stage, but i'll leave that to the parents to organise if that's ok?
The kids will be presenting a large pretendy cheque, 6 of the new Scotland shirts and 6 Germany shirts, along with any other kit/equipmentI can get my hands on.
I'll update asap - if there are any other questions fire away on here or to my email.

CMC I am staying in Dusseldorf and will not be in Dortmund till Wed morning but can meet up then if this suits , I have about ten lion rampantflags on wooden sticks there only about 18 x 12 but could give one to all the TA kids ,let me know any arrangements ,,DEREK SINCLAIR

Evryone else - don't know exactly what time the presentation's at yet. With the U21s on Tuesday and not everyone in Dortmund anyway, we'd probably be best meeting before the presentation on Wednesday.
Doesn't have to be early.
I've got most of your mobile numbers now, but we'll arrange a time and place before the end of this week.

It looks as if the presentation will take place at 3pm on Wednesday.
Is this a problem for anyone?
Once this is confimred we'll organise to meet at 2.
ps I'm hoping that there are no drunk 8 year olds falling off the stage.

Morning
Right - the fire engine cannot carry the kids to the stage unfortunately, due to safety fears (running over drunk TA I imagine.
Instead we'll just get the kids to walk onto the stage (still waving Lion Rampants) to present the dummy cheque and the strips to the Fans-Projekt President, the organiser of the Street-Kick-Football scheme, and a bunch of similarily-aged local kids.
There will also be an impromtu tournament - our kids could play against the local ones (sames ages, boys and girls) if they're up for it?
Which of our kids would fancy a game?
The other thing is that the strips we're taking over are not for those local kids on the stage to keep. They are all for 13/16 year olds, and will go to the organisers (either to award to future champions, or to use at all future tounaments) - but it would be nice to swap souveniers on stage.
Any suggestions would be welcome.....

both my kids will play and i will bring some extra flags to swop , how about contacting the sfa ,after the norway game they were dishing out small scotland penants ,just an idea , they might give you some .
