My contact in Tallinn has came back with good prices, that makes the Battlebus 2 look like a definite starter.
The Baltic Scenic Route (5 days on the swally)
(50 did it to Latvia the last campaign and had a great trip)
Monday
Early morning flight to Stockholm - Ryanair £80 approx
Day on the town
Depart on Ferry 17:00hrs
Cabin on Board
Tuesday
Arrive Tallinn 9am
spend the day on the town
23:00 hrs Battlebus 2 to Lithuania (Kaunus or Vilnius)
Wednesday
Arrive between 8 or 9
day on the town
match (optional)
Thursday
Depart in coach 1am
arrive Tallinn 10am
Depart in ferry 18:00hrs
Friday
arrive in Stockholm 9am
Fly back to Stansted
The price for Ferry crossings including cabin and the bus trip to Lithuania, will be about the £140 plus the flight to Stocholm £80 = Total £220.
No other accommodation charges are required for the trip, as we have 2 nights on the boat and two on the bus.

Is there any chance that we could join the bus from Tallin as we live in Helsinki?
Theres at the moment 3 of us going, so
could you give us a price if its possible?

Bus size will depend on the numbers travelling, but will be adjustable to suit, i.e. 21 / 29 / 40 or 50.
(I've got 16 at present - so the there will be a bus)
Helsinki Two
No problem, price varies depending on bus size. I'll contact you in the next few weeks with a rough price.

Yes flying out of Stansted to Skavsta nr Stockholm - cannot be booked yet it is too early.
Helsinki two you will not be alone, My other half is going, plus my daughter.
My wife's never been up the Baltics before - the down side of that is when she comes oot with s h it like "You've had enough" ! No chance of that till we drink every last drop of pear cider in the place.

The trip is on, we have sufficient numbers at present, the bus size will increase according to the size of the group. BUT, the group will not get any bigger than one bus.
I anticipate demand will soar by October, as we will have 6 points in the bag after our first two games.
Basically, the quicker you book up and pay a deposit to cover the bus then your seats will be reserved.
I doubt you will get a cheaper trip, it's a week on the swally and having done the trip before it will be a good week. It will be a party all the way as we already have two pipers in the group.

I have now got a serious interest in joining "battlebus 2" to vilnius or kaunas.
There would be 4 persons in all.
When will you be booking things?
When will you require the dosh?
Do I need to do anything more at the moment?

4 of us are considering making our away trip debuts in Lithuania (straight in at the deep end) and would be seriously interested in the Battlebuss expedition.
Is it on a first come first served basis?
When will deposits be required and how much?
