Over the last few weeks at work iv'e tried to air an objective view as to why their mighty Engerland might just not win the world cup, and after been told for the 200th time that i'm just a "Bitter Jock" it really does make me start to wonder, have they really got a chance ?, if they did i'd be on the first plane back home i just dont think i could handle it, i NEED reassuring they cant win it, can they?

Ive thought the same this pile o pi55 may scrape through but I think they will have to beat Brazil after Denmark if my calculating is anything to go by,they the ingurland have to be one of the poorest teams to make it to the 2nd round though having scored one real goal as cheating ba5turd penalties dinnae count in ma book.

No way!! They have been lucky so far. Certainly solid in defence but limited in the middle and up front. Which is completely opposite to what you would think going into this competition.
They struggle to win games and they require 4 wins on the trot to lift the cup.

It would brighten my day to see them in a game where the other team played for the whole game as they are capable. We got a half from Sweden, not much more than ten mins from Argentina and what can I say about the Nigerians - anyone with no idea of the competition would think the Nigerians had already qualified instead of trying muster a show for their last game in the WC.
I cant see it being the most entertaining game but I do at least think Denmark will give them a game for 90 mins - and about time too.

No way England will win it! They haven't scored a goal from open play yet, in fact I think they will be the lowest scorers in the 2nd round.
They were nearly/should have, been found out against the Swedes but held on and unfortunately Nigeria and Argentina were living on their reputations and wouldn't have scored against them if the games were still going on now.
Denmark will play very much like Sweden but are more of a solid unit and will be the toughest test yet for our southern neighbours, my money is on a very close game, perhaps even extra time, with England going out......

i don't think they will but it's scary with france and the argies going out in 1st round, hopefully italy will stay in with a shout and win tomorrow , mind you i love seeing the wee teams doing well and mexico have been doing well last few games.. so i'm not sure... mmmm
but hopefully the danes will beat them on sat, if they can beat france 2-0 i'm sure they can beat england, but see how it goes.

Nice to see that you guys are supporting England's oppossing teams. Let's hope you support all the opposing teams until the final. Non of them have managed to beat us so obviously it's a lucky charm.
Oh by the way, how have Scotland been playing recently? Hope you guys show us your (non) support in EURO 2004. Cos you're not going to be there so you might as well have an excuse to watch it.
It's really sad to see that the only thing you guys can talk about is how England are going to fail. Pathetic.
By the way. If Scotland was in the world cup. Every English man would be supporting them. So it's a bit weird that when England are there you show hatred towards them. Are you Argies in disguise?
