Cue mass hysteria in the Ingerlund meeja as the Eyeties crash out.... WE MUST WIN NOW !!! Headline all over the shop.
What these tits don't realise of course is that if Mexico, Sweden, Denmark et al, are capable of beating the 'big' countries, they're also well in to give England a good doing.
Are our English friends on here capable of understanding that, or they too busy whipping themselves into a frenzy as well ?
Come on Italy !!

John Motson was desperate for Mexico to knock Italy out. Was obvious through his whole commentary.

Your not wrong JJ, Motson and that boring nonce Brooking were desperate for the Italians to get knocked out.

I was out of my seat when Del Piero pulled it back (oo er) £25 still on.

Got to say I fancy oone of the Scandinavians to win the competition now.  I will gladly hail the World Champions in August at Hampden

Talks too much

Rossy, you've hit the nail right on the heid. What Motson, Davies, Champion etc have yet to realise is that if all of these so called 'smaller' nations are capable of knocking out the big guns then wy oh why do they expect England to beat them? I know, stupid question, because they're arrogant bastards.

Is going home, is going home Croatia's already going home
I do believe there's justice in fitba too!
Try to celebrate now!
Cheers
PS-I'm not a hard core Italy fan (that means I hžjust watch their matches) but Croatia clearly robbed the match vs Italy.

I'm pleased too - I want as many teams who can beat Brazil as possible to qualify. They are clearly favourites in my book. But they have an amazingly poor record against the Scandos so there could be an interesting match somewhere down the line (but they won't be playing Denmark of course ).

Did you hear the England fans on the news last night?

"We're not going home
We're not going home
We're not going, we're not going
We're not going home"

Quite a modest song if you ask me.

Kernie, in relation to Italy winning today, you wrote....

Well Italy cannea play Brazil until the final, so that will do for me (1970 was the best ever final and I can't wait for a repeat).

BTW You are sounding more like CUFC by the minute....
