Any TA want to watch Dukla re forthcoming game get to Bonnybridge on Sunday where Dukla are playing the Bonnybridge travelling TA [Brig-a-Broad] at 1PM, beforehand as P1 may have mentioned on another thread there is a primary schools 7s at 11am and two ladies teams square up at high  noon.

Just keeping this one alive as I will do until after the event.
Good to see a few volunteers willing to play, ref etc...
Thanks Tam for the strips offer, I dont have a problem with Real Madrid, think the TA might look quite fetching in them actually.

Great to see John at the Heb has organised a bus through and I hope it is full to the brim.
Remember this is a day out where people will get a chance to have some fun and meet other people from the TA, there is enough room at the venue for hundreds of people but it would be good to have an indication of numbers beforehand in order to let the club know how many people are likely to be there in order to have the bar well stocked and also make sure that there is enough grub for the BAR-B -Q so I would ask that those who are looking to come along themselves or with a couple of pals or organise busses let me know on here to get an idea of numbers. Come along bring your wife, children or mates and have a cracking day/night out.

Dead easy to get to from east coast, straight run through from embra, come off of M8 after the Kingston Bridge, onto the Kilmarnock cut off, the Rugby Club is in Pollock Park, facing exit from m/way

Fella do you think that you could face up to a grueling time over the hurdles in glesgie, or as you embra folk prefer glesgay. Looking forward to seeing your good self and the wife at this wonderful extravaganza of soccer skills. Mind nae kilts allowed on bouncy castle's, due tae wildlife protection act.

Chin up highlandladdie, hope you had a great day today.

Poor P1 has been banging her head against a brick wall trying to get some support. It's a shame nobody from here took you up on your charity football match...

Makes you wonder what you've got to do eh?

Tam

Brig-a-Broad 4  Dukla 3

David Taylor did play and performed well, Bertie was on holiday, Dukla included Chic Young, Albert Craig, Gerry Collins, Gerry McCabe, Jim Holmes, Dixie Deans.

It was a great day, Highland Laddie put a report up in the AOB section under P1s Charity match thread.

I'm in training Ruary, really going for it, so if your looking for a good midfielder, good for at least half an hour that is.

The team is now coming together, although I am still waiting to hear from some of the ATAC clubs about their representatives.... so far we have the following volunteers:
McTeagle
Hawkeye Ranoo
Winky
Hammy
Spartacus
Tartan Army Casualty
Andy Gray
Gemmills Goal
Forfar Loon
Dave Crocker (Nosta)
Jimmy Bell (EASTA)

We have WEE John (PTA) and Marco with a couple of under 8/9s

We have RichiefaeScotland willing to referee.......

...... but we dont as yet have anyone volunteering for the position of Manager.

By my calculations we are still short of about 4 or 5 players although I am pretty sure that WESTA will be putting forward someone and hopefully so will PTA as they are bringing down a youth team to play, so come on I am sure when I put this up before there were others who wanted to play perhaps even share a shower with Herr Berti

Remember we also have the magnificent Andy Chung and his band coming along to entertain the troops.
