GET A LIFE!!!

I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere, but I'm too lazy to try and find it so...where is everyone planning on staying for the Lithuania game? I know the game is in Kaunas, but I seem to recall those in the know saying that we should stay in Vilnius and travel? Also, are we sure that if we do that, we'll be able to get back to Vilnius after the game?

So many questions...but it's just that I've been looking at options for this one and don't want to be staying in one place when everyone else is staying somewhere else, or being stuck in Kaunas after the game....

Goin with the charter flight from Edinburgh ppl will be in Vilnius the night before but flight may return from Kaunus the night of the match so think we would be hanging around there till flight leaves 3/4 ish in morning.
This will be some Easta and TapShopTA and KTA and dunno who else on the bouncy plane.
Looked like a few bods getting there via other routes were heading to Vilnius but that was mibbe when we thought the gemme was there.  At the mo our hotels are Vilnius and I can`t see why this would change.

Not fancy the Edinburgh flight Tartan Sheep?

We're arriving Monday via Helsinki until Friday, so we're looking at a night in Kaunas (its a college town you know for you.....ahem, single guys) after the game and heading back to Vilnius on the Thursday.

ReekySporran - that sounds like a good plan tae me. I'll have a look at accomodation in Kaunus too, then.

Mazzy - I wanted to go for a bit longer than the Edinburgh charter. We're on the same flights as Reeky (and Lurker I think), flying via Helsinki on the Monday and back on the Friday. Just need to sort oot flights tae Lahndan noo....

I had thought ae spending the hail time in Vilnius. But noo A'm tempted tae stay the night after the game in Kaunas. Different city could be a laugh. It's a big city tae - 450,000 folk so has plenty of places tae go oot.
