For those who have been to Lithuania before do you recommend we book up accomodation in Vilnius or is Kaunas a better option?
I had a bit of a debacle in Bigdosh following the Poland game (due to the lack of accomodation and trains) and don't want to go through the same thing again if possible!

Both have bars etc. But Vilnius is bigger and better. It's easy to get to Kaunas fir the day of the game - an hour on the train/bus. I'd say 90% of TA will be in Vilnius.

Jam,
if 90% of the TA are in Vilnius,

Splendid. Vilnius it is then. Don't you just love trips to eastern Europe? Take me down to Vilnius city where the grass is fluorescent and the girls are pretty. Oh oh, take me there.
