I was speaking to a few people and also by looking on the TAMB it seems to be that we are going to be taking around 6,000 over to Iceland in October is that a fair number or has anyone heard diffrent? If this is around the number i suggest the SFA and the STC should be speaking with the Icelandic association about match tickets.

Dunno civvyk - that seems a pretty high number to me. Can't see it being anything like that - I was thinking more like around 1500-2000.
What does anyone else think?

I thought 2k to 3k, but that's really just a guess!
I think numbers will be limited by flights and accommodation - and that's pretty much all booked up...

I'd say between 1,500 and 3,000. A really cannae see us gettin mair tickets than the 10% allocation (700). Ye can mibbe sneak in one side ae the grund appairentlie. Otherwise it's stey in the bars an watch the gemme while gettin rat-ersed!!

At least 5 or 6 chartered planes that I know of! I would estimate 2-3 thousand for 700 tickets.

Is that the result of some scientific experiment GG - or just a complete guess? 
As for the chartered planes, I thought each of them only held around 80 folk - so even 8 planes is only 640 people....

Sorry bit harsh there.
Four chartered planes had 200+ I thought but may be wrong.
Icelandair flights never came into the equation and they all got full very quickly after the fixtures were announced. Both from GLA and London - over 3 days - nother 12 planes there with a lot of TA on board.
Still reckon 2-3000 for 700 tickets

Look at it from Icelands economy - the more tickets the Scot's get, the more money will be ploughed back into the local economy.

My point is that if flights like the Heb bar one only take 80 how are we going to get 3000? That would take a week of arrivals wouldn't it? Apologies if i'm talking mince.

Aye nae bother C Mc - cant even remember why I was p'd off - oh aye it was the fact I had taken a half day and went oot in Ediburgh to see us get gubbed by SK.

Will still guess at 2.5-3k - just hope I get a ticket.
