Did you not go there in 99 Calum?.

Hotels not cheap.

Cheapest route back then was with Slovenian airline from heathrow.  Think it was called Arian airlines.

Although some guys did Czech air to Zagreb then overland bus.

Or I think you can fly to Italy then ferry to Hadjuk  then bus from there.

Fare in 99 was £220 from heathrow but that was discounted because Vodka did the booking.

Also back then the desired currency was German Marks which they used as local currency so euros will be exactly the same.  You wont need to change them.  They just used this as a benchmark and ranked local currency on one for one basis.

Bh, I will put together a wee guide in a few days, nae worries. Meanwhile, check my previous post about transport https://t-army.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=13&topic=5034

Euan, thigs changed since 99. Some cheaper hotels around (from 16 pounds B&B) and guesthouses. Too bad, but the airlines still keep their prices high.

Right about euros. 1 Euro for 2 Bosnian Marks. ATMs available too.

BTW, Hajduk is name of team from the place called Split!
