I've just had a check and I can fly from Bristol to Prague for £40 just now.
I've kept holidays back incase of a play off. If we're in a play off then I'll be there, if not then it'll be Prague for me.

Aye, £40 from Luton as well, £41 from East Midlands.
I missed out on Prague last time, and don't want to this. Timing could be better, just after Norway and Germany, mind. Will start saving the pennies now.

Venue no, taking a bit of a punt assuming it's Prague, but any other venue would surely be only a train ride away. Date, so I'm told, is 30 September (Tues) which is handy because many folk will get paid in between the German game and this one.

Told by who? There's nothing on the SFA website about this, and I can't read Czech, so I've not been able to find anything.
Personally, I think the date may not be decided in concrete until next season's club fixtures are known, as there are plenty of league and league cup fixtures around September time.
If the game is in Brno (Czech Republics second city) or Ostrava, it's a fair train ride away, and you would almost be as well going via Vienna.

Cracking idea Andy. Easyjet has loads of departure points for Prague. Should the game be in Brno it is only three hours on the train from Prague. Read in some travel guide that bevvy outside the capital is considerably cheaper. It all depends how the play off situation pans out (or not). Keep us posted.
BTW belated thanks for the hotel recommendation in Corby, the Raven was quality.

My mates just back fae Prague, and he went about 5 years ago as well. He says it definately getting more expensive, so Brno would probably be much cheaper if it was there.
Like you I think I'll wait for the play off situation becoming clearer first.

Ha!! Told youse! Look at the new "Future Squad" thread on the General Forum. Andy from the SFA has just put up the dates of the remaining games and this game is apprently 30 Sept. Still to decide venue tho.
