Something to say

o.k, I'm just wondering what the plan for this and whats the respected numbers for it.

what i was looking at was:

- An early EasyJet flight fae Edinburgh/Glasgow tae Amsterdam (the early flights are normally very cheap)

- Stay in Amsterdam for the day, and stay overnight there (Stopping at the local bars and clubs Aiiii )

- Then the day before the game catch an afternoon train tae Dortmünd then meet up with the elder and other T.A.'s in Dortmünd.

- Stay the night in Dortmünd or a local town

- Party all day with the T.A. go tae the game, Party again until the drink is finished

- Stay overnight again in Dortmünd

- catch an afternoon train tae Amsterdam, then a last Glasgow/Edinburgh bound plane back to Scotland (the last flights are often the cheapest)

What do you's think of that. or is there already a plan?
I'd imagin flight would be at max of £80 - £100, accomodation about £120 at max, a Max of £50 return for train return (i'm not sure on that one) and a max of £200 for dink and food etc.
I'm no sure if that's right though, can people correct me?

Cheers
Richard

Aye Richie, that's all 'max' You should cut 10-20% off each item.

Anyway, as for the train - David posted exact prices some time ago; search through the Travel forum. Since you are under 26, you should even get discounted price. Same goes for youth hostels. Not for drinks, unfortunately

cheers

ps you forgot the match ticket and the party - Priceless

I looked back to page 6 or 7 to see if there was anything about this, but i couldn't find anything (I was a little sleep at the time as well though)

Also, I got my Passport through today, one bad thnig to it, I have to be known as British very unfair, but i'm going to send off my STC form now

Cheers

Sounds just the ticket Richie, I wis gonnae make a topic on this soon but you've saved me the bother. All the details look perfect, now all we need is for people to make their interest known. If I remember correctly it wis Craigclye and Ross who suggested it and a couple of other people showed and interest as well, Joe Jordan and someone else I think. We'll need to all meet up at the Denmark game or something.

Well, as you know, i am well up for it! I think maybe a friend will come, but thats like 40% likely, he'd prefer to go abroad to see Rangers play, me thinks the other way

I'll defiantely have £400 for flights, etc etc anyway, though that will probably be too much, depends how much they sell Irn-Bru, Diebels, Jever, Warsteiner, imported tennents or smuggled tennents

Cheers
Richard

I'm taking ma Irn-Bru over with me, cos if they do happen to sell it, it's probably gonnae be expensive.

I've got a firend that might go as well, but when I mentioned it to him he thought I wis mad for some reason so who knows. So who else is up for it?

Jocky,

Me and my mates will also be travelling via the dam. Maybe we can manage to meet up and go to the Banana Bar like we were supposed to last time. We can organise nearer the time. I am going to gi Frofar Loon and his cronies a mail to see if they are also going this time.

Ritchie.....your to young for the Banana bar, the closest you are going to get to it is a Banana milkshake.

Opinionated Wind Bag

notalototdo, if you go along with Forfar Loon and co then you are liable to leave Teasers only a few minutes before your flight!!!  Also your train is liable to crash on the way from the city centre to the airport!!  Just kidding mate there will be no complications  if you journey with them, theyve no history of previous mucked up trips to the Dam .  You will have a great time by the way.
