I was looking at prices on their website (www.superfast.com) and it doesn't look to bad. It can be as little as 30 quid return i think and about the same if you're taking a car. Saying that, Iv no idea how much overnight ferries usually cost

Fresh ideas |
Us Falikirk boys are thinking the same as you.
This could be a cracking way to make European trips in the future.
The German trip for starters should be a blast

Good luck using it for Lithuania, according to the routefinder I just checked it is 1161 miles from Zeebrugge to Vilnius. Hope your not cycling.

I've booked it for a few days in September, cabin for two cost a total of 400 euros (about £125 each),
here's hoping it's as good as the Stockolm to Tallin.

I work in Rosyth, seen it today.A braw looking ship, and it has a nice big saltire painted on the side, along with the Belgian/Greek flags. Not a UJ in sight!
Typically for anything at Rosyth, the terminal building isnae finished yet,so passengers will be shuffling through portakabins for a month or two.
I thought the prices were a bit steep, especially with a car,but we are thinking of having oor next works night out in Ostend!
Quite an exciting prospect, and it will bring a lot of tourists here.We should have had this years ago.
They better not even think about banning football fans.

Reports in the papers today say that the ship has been sailing so far with only 30% capacity.
They need more regular business freight or their are already mumblings that the plug could be pulled on it.
Sounds premature, but they recently axed their Sweden-Germany route after only 4 months because of low sales.
I hope it succeeds, but it was probably a risk from the start. Living in Holland, I've looked into prices and times etc for the journey back home, and still the best route for me is the Ijmuiden-Newcastle. Also a top class ferry, but far cheaper than the Superfast boat.....and if we're not considering using it, you have to say that potential tourists from Holland and Northern Germany will feel the same way.
