I reckon we should all wear Simpsons t-shirts in Rio after their Mayor taking a humpty at the show.

Right guys, my missus does all the travel arrangements at work and spoke to the guy she deals with today.

She was quoted £448 return to Rio with air France, via Paris. BUT, she was told that if there was a block booking then the price could go down a bit. He also said that if we all book separately, then the airline will catch on quick and put the prices up once they know what's going on.

So when/if this game is confirmed, would it be possible to arrange all our travel plans together, and maybe save a bit of cash?

Well, I was quoted that price leaving from Glasgow, but AF fly out of Edinburgh too, so I expect that price will be the same from there.

Shall we leave it in your capable hands once the date is confirmed.....?

The group booking is the best bet, good company and less cash

Aye sounds a good idea, Craigiebroon has done it for Hong Kong and its worked a treat. If we book this far in advance I imagine we would only need to pay a 10% deposit or something like that the noo.

See my post under Rio.

If it goes ahead, I'll get the ball rolling with a block booking.

As tartan tiger said, good company and less cash

Are you seriously thinking two weeks??  A week would do for me.  Still other holidays to fit in next year!  Still interested though regardless
