San Marino and Croatia, "Double Header", 7th and 11th October 2000

Croatia vs Scotland, Zagreb, Wednesday 11th October 2000
Both World Cup Qualifying Matches

Reasonable priced flight options for the double header are getting quite few and far between now.
Most of the cheap flights to destinations such as Bologna, Venice and Rimini are all fairly well book up (especially Rimini).
Zagreb flights are all also very busy with return options in the 2 days following the 2nd match becoming very limited.
One cheaper possibility still available is to use the Ryan Air route to Ancona (from Stansted) which is about 1 hour by train from Rimini.
The last option which is still available appears to be the 'official' Scotball trip which costs £572 and includes 2 night in SM and 4 nights in Zagreb and all travels / travel. If you want your hand held on your away trip, this is the option for you.

Sabena appear to be doing returns to Zagreb via Brussels for a good price.
Train travel between Zagreb and Rimini appears arduous (circa 14 hours all told), with potentially several train changes being required. Common stop off points are likely to be Venice (for the venezia vs Crotone Seria B match on the Sunday 8th October), Lido di Jessolo (where many Scots are based during the DH), Trieste and Ljubljana (the capital of Slovenia).
