I imagine there'll be a fair few - but i would reckon a fair number of them will be Glasgow based.
Also depends on 2008 - if we get it (like i stated in the other thread) there will be an enormous demand for tickets!

Don't forget the Glasgow/West of Scotland "Irish", this gives them a chance to support their "national" team and most of them already have a flag.

I was at a Sportsmans Dinner last night where one of the speakers described Croy as "a cemetry with streetlights"

The thing that bothers me is that a load of Celtic fans who dont usually give a feq about Scotland games will be getting tickets for this game and denying fans who go reguarly to Hampden the chance of tickets especially since they are quite  cheap I have missed 3 home games in 8 years dont go to Away games due to finances (I'm a student) but have a feeling with the demand for tickets being high few people like myself may be unable to get a ticket

I just hope the travel club dont limit our number of tickets, plus the family sections have sold well at other games, i think their will be a good home support there

In 1987 there was a crowd of 45,091 at the Rep of Ireland game at a Hampden that held approx 75,000 at the time......this was for a Euro championship Qualifier and I recall there being a very small Irish support......this nonsense with the Old Firm fans supporting Ireland and England over Scotland is a relatively recent craze

The whole point in my post was in was angered by Celtic supporting mates who in the past I have asked if they wanted tickets for Hampden laughed @ me for supporting Scotland these same fans have asked me to try & get them tickets just because its Ireland. Although maybe I am wrong its just a coincedence but they turned down tickets for The France game @ Hampden The World Champions also turned down few other games
