Cove Sheep, you can also fly Aberdeen - Bergen. The train journey from Bergen to Oslo is apparently one of the best train journeys in the world and can include a ferry detour up a fjord...

If you're into that kind of thing!

Aye, have been on this train before and it fantastic. Scenery is amazing ...or, if you prefer, jump on the night train, sleep through the scenery and wake up in Oslo!

Wee Rab - did the Aberdeen to Bergen flight last year and it was just over £200 return.
Think I'll be going to Kristiansand by ferry with the car and making a longer stay of it though...

I lived there 7 or 8 years ago and not in Vilnius - in Siauliai in the north. What do you want? Clubs, pubs? They change all the time - 'Vilnius in your pocket' is a guide and is probably on the web - Ministerija is a famous club but there will be loads others and you'll find them nae bother.

Scenic stuff - well there's loads in the old town - just walk aboot - and there's the castle on the hill and '3 cross hill' in the centre. There's Trakai Castle outside Vilnius in a kind of lakeland. I'd recommend that. Other than that just get pashed.

Kaunas is almost the same size as Vilnius and is big with students - I went out there once years ago but got mashed and phuck knows where I was.

Talks too much

tried pricing flights from Aberdeen to Oslo but was scary prices flying direct route. cheapest way so far is Abz to Manchester/Heathrow and then on to Oslo with BA.

Aye there will be a pile of us from the north going over the North Sea, don't know if any trawlers will be heading from Scrabster!!!!!probably end up in Tromso or Spitsbergen if we take that option.

Aberdeen Oslo looks the best bet by far

Whatever you want John, suss out the flights and let me know.

I still haven't decided 100% about this one. I'm pessimistically / optimistically thinking about keeping holiday days back in case of a play off.

Drop me an email re flights down to here.
