Davidd asked a question in the other thread about tickets and preferential treatment of clubs which Ruary kindly spun a wee yarn about earlier.
Here is the answer again;
--------------------
I have asked Ruary privately about that little gem!
Clubs apply for blocks of tickets, and they have to give all the same STC numbers as you would have to had you applied as an individual.
Clubs do not get preferential treatment as far as allocation.
If you were entitled to one as an indiviual, you will not be any less or more entitled to a ticket as a member of a club.
Its just about more mates sitting together at the match and I'm still waiting to find out what Ruary was implying.
The Tap Shop TA boys apply for tickets together and sit together.
The EASTA boys apply for tickets together and sit together.
No difference...no preferncial treatment.
Hope this answers your question.
Cheers,
Tam

The [non ATAC ] Sporran Legion boys also apply to sit together but get lost in various pubs before, during and after the game.....

Mind you, Broon doesnae usually get in thanks tae the Strathclyde polis!!
If yer in the STC then ye'll get the same preference as all other STC members - whether in a club or no'.

Tam seemed to take my post as having something to do with ATAC (must have read it in his sensitive mode) which it wasn't

Ruary,
I'm always sensative when its you dude!!!
There were 3 or 4 people who picked up on the clubs/tickets part of your Magood posting and subsequently posted varying levels of questions regarding clubs and preferential treatment.
I was simply answering the direct questions from these guys as a result of yer pished oot yer heid posting.
Cheers,
Tam

What a bonus then Tam it gave a perfect opportunity to explain all about ATAC and also about ticketing.
Say thank you
I think that now everyone understands ATAC and it's position with the SFA and also the fact that ATAC provides a direct link between the fans and the SFA to discuss all relevant matters.
