Agree with both sides: I've got a massive chip on my shoulder about E****** after living there. But...I do have e***** mates - a girlfriend who thinks the TA are a bunch of immature, vindictive w*nkers because of the anti-e stuff. Which is fair enough - I used to get right pissed off with the "sweatysock" jibes when I lived there, even if they professed the same "it's only a bit of fun" attitude. Actually walloped a few people for it, so I can understand.
It's a shame what my girlfriend thinks though, specially as I spend a lot of time telling her about the good-natured, charitable, everyone-loving, funny and heartwarming nature of the TA.
I'd love Yabba dabba doo to catch on at matches.

Arrived in Paris on the Monday night already well on the way to Magoo'd-ville and headed for the Auld Alliance. Sang the above song so much that I lost my voice for the remainder of the week... absolute class... 
Id love to hear the full North Stand sing it during the game.

One of the worst songs in Paris (ever) was when Bartez dropped the ball my mate started singin "Are you Henry Smith in disguise" That wis bad enough but about 100 footsoldiers around us joined in.

Can I presume you are one of my many fans accross the world.
I replied to a message the other day but cannot find it now. I was saying that the Scottish FA had asked me for a costing to perform at Hampden at one of your forthcoming soccer matches. What sort of tunes do you think would go down well in' dear old Glasgow town' ?

Auld Reekie - I love that one too. It always brings a lump to my throat, especially since the last time I heard it was in a bar in Zagreb, on our last night there, and it was being sung by a Croatian lad whose knowledge of English pretty much began and ended with the lyrics to that song. He was decked out in a Scotland top and huge tartan hat and was starting the song every couple of minutes, trying to get everyone to join in.

Aye TS, it makes the hairs on me neck stand on end just when I think about the Auld Alliance and singing that song. I would honestly love to hear the whole of Hampden sing it...
