if u try and guess the results of the rest of group 5 games, it may all come down to us beating the liths for a 3 way playoff tussell between us, ice and lith.
lets hope for a full house for that game.
a know doubt we'll get a brick ard team for the playoff. ie turkey!

At the moment, I am more concerned about getting 3 points of the Faroes. That's where I think we can blow it and the rest wont matter.
Hopefully, the Faroes will have taken a point of Iceland in 2 weeks to give us a wee bit breathing space.
Otherwise, I can see Iceland, needing a win for the play-offs. playing a German side that has already qualified.
As for the play-offs, we are bound to get either England or Wales.

No match is more important than another not much point beating Germany and losing against the Faroes or Lithuania. 3pts is 3pts whoever you beat.

Iceland play the Germans in Rekyerwallet at 5:30 on the Saturday night after we have played the Faeroes, they will be well up for beating the Germans, if they get 3 pts from that game we will need two wins and at least a draw in Dortmund.
It starts to look worrying 
if Iceland beat Germany, then we may well face the backlash in Dortmund, OK they could be on a bad patch and we might just scrape a win as well - now that would be some party !!

Like I said before, we need to concentrate on beating the Faroes. If we can get 3 points off them, it puts the pressure back on Iceland. If we can then beat Lithuania, Iceland would need to have got at least 2 draws from the Germany games - quite a tall order.
The point about beating the Faroes is that it should keep our interest alive until the last game.

Just checked the Uefa website to confirm what happens if we were to finish level with Iceland. It is the head-to-head record so that means they have to beat Germany if we win our 2 home games.
It would be make things really interesting if they did get something from Germany - we could still finish top!!!.
Hang on on a minute, I'll need another reality pill!

Scotland are in a good position the pressure is on Germany at the moment and Iceland if they dont win on Saturday.
