Something to say

Match v Lithuania now of even greater importance. I dont think they will be any push overs and I feel that we will need to play at our peak to get a win, I am positive, but in  the light of other results,(especially Germanys, who are the seeded team!) perhaps an away draw against the Lithuanians might be a pretty good result. We got an excellent result yesterday and will be more confident, but so will the Lithuanians  after their match, and I'll bet most of the TA would be delighted if Scotland ground out an away draw in Dortmund come September.

I can't argue with your logic,
though I have a prob' with being logical,
something to do with land of birth,
I feel we are good enough tae win,
and aye,
I would settle for a draw.

Dead right - their full team & U-21's sportsmanship were a disgrace; not to mention their dirty play - that flying assault upon Elvis was worthy of a straight red. On Wednesday they were the worst team to beat us in years - and how the weans lost on Tuesday, I will never ever know.

Good luck to them, they got a result against us as we have got against many better teams over the years, but they were so average it was unbelievable.

If we dont wipe the floor with them at the end of the campaign, we deserve to be a lowly seed for 2006, and dont deserve to be anywhere near Portugal next Summer.

Sorry Lithuanian Guy, but I really hope we stuff you in the Autumn.

Tartanaccie, don't you think it's pretty childish to talk such things? And I'm sure that about our basketball team you know much better than I do about the Scottish one

Notts: it is obvious that you must play much better agains us at home, but hey, don't be so sure about smashing poor lithuanians at Glasgow I'm not saying that we will win, but once again, 1pt is considered a wanted outgrowth by me (didn't your team officials do the same talking about Vilnius' game? )

Lith - dead right, and its part of the reason why we lost in Kaunas; we were too negative, and that was the manager's fault.

As for smashing you, well, your football team metaphorically only!!

Notts: well, Scottish managers had to be careful, especially after our draw with Germany, because if we would win and they had been talking only about victory before, it would be much more bitter for them

And don't be sad thinking that you lost to the team wich is rated only 106 in the world. I think due to bad management our team is at the very bottom of their possibilities - actually, we were somewhere about 72nd place and we are getting back to it
