What`s so strange about that.By all acounts we`ll not know where the game will be played till something like 60 days before.
Accommodation in Vilnius is already booked.If we waited to see if the game was going to be in Kaunas before booking accommodation,the chances of getting anything would be slim.

I booked direct today with this company through their web site - flying from Gatwick to Vilnius with Lithuanian Airlines, out on the Tuesday, back on the Friday - 3 nights b&b for £310. Not bad at all, I thought !

It`s worth phoning Bruce for lots of reassuring info.... ie. reckons flight can return from Kaunas if necessary, approx 3 hour flight time, 3* hotel brand new, 55p a pint etc etc.

Glad you clarified the "burdz" definition Tam as Mary Doll was all set tae gee ye the Malky!
Aye we will be meeting to finalise our numbers for the trip but we will have between 16-22 of us wanting to go.
Jim I can't see past this trip as being good value and the simple way to do it. One thing, if there is a time difference of 3 hours then presumably the flight out will be leaving in the very early hours? 3 or 4 a.m. If so I will speak to the Tap Shop Manager about possible party on the Monday night. We usually have a good schwally pre-tour and we could open it up to everyone?
