Looks like the stadium has a capacity of 15000. Meaning we will probably get 1500 tickets. Is that enough??? SFA letter seemed to think it might not be....

Got the STC renewal letter through which included the initial Lithuania tickets form. Its just registering your interest. Form to be in by the 15th Jan. It says that the capacity may not be enough to accomodate all travel club applications.

According to official description of stadium it only holds 12,500 and the last game against Faroes the attendance was 11,500.
Not a good sign.........but we will still be there, have to be as my flight is booked!
No point worrying, will just have to wait and see.

I got the lonely planet Eesti, Latvija, Lietuva for christmas. It turns out Darius i Gireno were a pair of Lithuanian transatlantic fliers from the 1930's who are famous sons of Kaunas. However, their plane crashed on one of their attempts to cross the atlantic and that was the end of them. End of cheery local history!
