German supporter,
I worked for Strathclyde Uni for a couple of months one summer and had digs at a place that belonged to them down Jamaica street - just before you cross the bridge at the Clyde. It's pretty central being opposite the Central train station (although can be noisy at night with trains shunting). However, I think it's now changed it's name (anyone in Glasgow know?) although should be cheap to stay at. Other than that there are a few tourist info places - one just round from Georges Square before Buchanan Street that should be able to help you out?

Last year in Glasgow I had a good accomodation, but it was very expensive. The accomodation was in Sandyford Street, in the nearness of the Museum of Transport. I have found Jamaica Street at my Glasgow-map (where I have
autographs of Martin O'Neill and Hendrik Larrson). Does one of you have the E-mail adresse of the accomodation?
Thanx again for your help!

Kilt, unfortunately haven't been to Edinburgh. Maybe I have the chance to visit Edinburgh this time, but I go to Glasgow because of the match against Denmark. I look forward to that. Hope to meet you all in Pandora Bar. By the way, can one of you describe the way to Pandora Bar?

The Pandora is on Victoria Road, very close to Queen's Park Station. Goto http://www.streetmap.co.uk and type G42 7SA as a postcode to see exactly where it is.

As a native of Glasgow I would recommend these sites. All central and cheapish.
