After leaving my "sesh boots" in Brussels i decided to wear my timberlands to the France game.I would advise if you are wearing footwear that is in fairly good nick then dinnae ever expect to wear them up the toon again after a Scotland trip. These boots are now solely reserved for Scotland games.Comfy an aw

I wore trainers on the day of the game on Brussells coz I had a cracking blister on my foot from my boots which I hudnae worn in about a year.

I prefer to wear my rockports but it's whatever you feel comfy in.

For Faroes and Iceland it'll be big seaboots with these thick white socks fishermen wear. Height of fashion in places like Buckie, Fraserburgh, Torshavn, Arbroath, Pittenweem.

Timbies, only ever worn on Scotland trips now, got a wee shoeshine boy in Paris to give them a clean in March and he brought them up near as new.

Are you saying you want all TA footsoldiers to conform to some kind of dress code? If that happened, it would be a sad day!

I'm fond of a nice wee pair of Dunlop Greenflash. They take me back to the days when we had some outstanding players in the Scotland team.

Wear what you want, one of the beauties of the TA has always been the variety of dress and colours.
