Tartan Army Casualty

GET A LIFE!!!

Right guys, I'm infiltrating enemy territory on Saturday. I'm going to be in a pub just outside Halifax (where I sung Flower of Scotland at New Year, kilted up) for the Denmark game.

Wish me luck ( and the Danes ).

I may be some time

Picture the scene.

Me in my Scotland top, surrounded by about 50 of the enemy with their En*land tops, all singing "swing low", "were gonna win the cup" etc, etc, etc.
Funny thing is, none of them knew the second verse of their national anthem, which I though was hilarious.

Things go from bad to worse after the first half, game over, all of them going mental. Me surrounded, and very downhearted. I'm never eating Danish bacon again.

They start singing "Scotland Scotland, give us a song". So I of course burst into "Flower of Scotland". At least I know all the words to our national anthem. A bit of banter was then swapped, and they went home happy. I went out later to drown my sorrows.

Couldn't believe all the flags they have down there. Nearly every other house had one, or more fluttering in the breeze.

And to make things worse, they all believe they're gonna win the World Cup.

Come on Brazil

Aye, it's no' half grim.

Glad I'm back in sunny Cumbernauld now.

Unfortunately, I'll be in deepest darkest Cornwall this weekend for a repeat performance.

Wedding do, so the kilt's making an appearance. God, I hope Brazil win on Friday.
