I know this is a bleak day for the World Cup and football in general, but there is a plus side.
If 'they' finish top of their group then they'll play the runners up from Group A, which, at the moment, could very possibly be France.
Small comfort I know, but Its a glimmer of light at the end of this England shaped tunnel!

The bastards have still got to play Nigeria in the heat of Osaka. Let's hope that Nigeria decide to play for pride, as a 1-0 win for them could well be enough to put the arrogant tossers out.
Oh, how we would laugh.....I'd also be delighted to see them flop against Senegal.

Pathetic and laughable. Before the game EVERYBODY was writing us off yet we pull out an incredible performance and win 1-0 against the tournament favourites.
And because we celebrate that we're arrogant???!?
Get over it. 1-0 to Sven's Super England and you know it hurts like hell.

It's not certain that France will qualify-they're looking well dodgy.I think Senegal might be a tougher test,the way they are playing.
