Since about 1998!!
Saw an interview with everyone's favourite Welshman this morn. Asked if he was touched, he replied "Enough to make me bleed"
Saw that interview as well, did he leave the field for treatment?
If he did I didn't notice it.
If he was bleeding he's required to get the wound dressed, failure to do so is a major safety issue and needs to be looked at by FIFA.
If he wasn't bleeding then surely that statement is an admission that there was no contact.
Either way he's in the wrong

Oh no - Scotland fans are saying Owen dived!
Shock horror!
Get over it and try to be big enough to take it in your stride. I know it must be a huge disappointment, watching two foreign teams in a World Cup which you aren't involved in but please try and retain a sense of proportion.
Owen dived did he? Well, no he didn't but let's just imagine he did.
Big deal. I wonder if the outrage and crybaby posts on here would be as evident had Batistuta won a penalty? Smehow I don't think so.
To be honest, nobody in England could really care less about the stench of sour grapes emanating from North of the Border - in fact it is very amusing. Owen dived? What a disgrace, bring the boys home, award Argentina a 3-0 win.
Yeah, right!

Only 7 teams have done it.
