Here is the joining details for the Tartan Army Message Board World Cup Fantasy League.
1. click on this link (but don't do it yet as you'll need to know what to do when yer in!)

2. when your in, click on 'register' , very easy to do, just fill in your own details etc.
3. name your team. I suggest that you call your team by your TAMB name, ie I've called mine 'HebridesBarEdinburgh' and choose your team colours!
4. once you've done that click on the 'My League' on the left hand side menu bar, and you will see a section called 'join a new league founded by' and in the box beside it type in the following (or copy and paste!)

5. Thats it! your in! You will see the name of the League appear on your screen.

When i first suggested this i also thought we could make some money for the Sunshine Appeal. This is still something i would like to do, however, i feel not every one will want to join if they have to pay, and also there may not be enough time for people to send the money in before the WC starts.
So what i thought we could do, was that for those who want to raise money they could 'pledge' the entry fee (£5) and post the money say next week or before.
When the league finishes the person who has won will be the highest placed person who has donated to the appeal, so this will not stop other people also joining the league.
I thought the split could be half the money direct to the appeal and what is left would be divided into 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Example - 20 people join = £100 raised. £50 to the appeal, 1st gets £30 (30%) 2nd gets £15 (15%) and 3rd gets £5 (5%)
The only problem i have, is that things are hectic in my household at the moment!! as most of you know, so if any one would be interested in administering it, that would be superb, if not i will do it.
Any other ideas, just post!

how do you find out how our league is doing i.e whos got who in their team, positions and points etc. ( once it starts obviously )

Haven't had good look yet as to how much info is there but I think you can check in that area.

In answer to your Question MNC i think that the boards leagues get 'updated' daily and once that has happened you can click directly on other peoples teams and see who they have selected but you won't be able to see what 'transfers' they have made until after the daily deadline.
The best thing to do is just click on all the buttons on the menu and see what it brings up!
