No seen that one, Ally, but I have seen "Slugs" - where a community are terrorised by an infestation of slugs (you're kidding!) by not checking the lettuce in their BLT sarnies and throwing up the mutant gastropod molluscs and dying from internal bleeding or something

Anyway, it's not scary or gory - it's shite.  I was pished when I saw it.  Bzzzz's trekkie ref (I hated that bit when I saw it at the pictures) reminded me of it.

Something to say

more recently, K19: Widowmaker has some horrific scenes of soviet submariners suffering from radiation poisoning -- maybe not as "gory" as some of the slasher films but even more revolting in my opinion (especially because it's a true story )

Raging Bull is pretty gory though like K19 not a slasher movie. Personally I don't like seeing someone getting battered in the name of sport, but its still a great film

Is Ticks the one where they breed in folks bodies, and you see them crawling under the surface of the skin before they 'pop' out?  That film was mingin, whatever it was.

The bit in American History X where the guy gets his head cracked open on the kerb is gross anaw.  Don't think it was all that graphic but still the thought of it.
