GET A LIFE!!!

after seeing a pic of Eugene Dadi's finger in a paper today, it got me wondering.

What's the worst injury you've seen happening ( not necessarily on a football field)

My best one was a guy when i was in secondary school was mucking about with a javelin, and ooops, speared himself right through the stomach with it (schoolboy kebab)

I'm pleased to say he made a full recovery

O you who turn the wheel and look to windward, consider Phlebus, who was once handsome and tall as you.

The worst thing I've seen happen, was my nail breaking.

Probably my own finger being crushed by a office desk. I was unloading it from a van, when it slipped and trapped my finger between it and the tailgate.
To say it resembled a pun o' mince would be mild. Still,7 stitches and a lost nail were all it took to make it resemble a digit again.

If you've ever seen the pics of Coventry defender David Busst's career-ending injury - no contest.

agreed on David Buust. Took them 5 mins to mop up all the blood from the Man utd 6yard box. Peter Schmeichal also puked behind the goal

Aye, nae question, got to be David Busst's one. I was listening to Radio Five's commentary of that game and the commentators were unable to speak when they saw it happen. Harsh to blame it on Gary Neville and Denis Irwin, though, Will - I thought he caught his studs as he landed?

Saw Stan Collymore dislocate his ankle while playing for Leicester against Derby.

I know he is the TA's favourite punchbag but I nearly chundered, ankles are no meant to point in that direction....

My own broken arm when I fell of a climbing frame aged 10 (me that is,no the climbing frame ). It was bizarre to see my hand about an inch above my forearm.

Guy playing in my team in April did the double fracture and dislocation of the ankle bit. Apparently this is the natural reaction of the joint to making it try to go in the oposite direction to the rest of the leg. Made me puke. He is still on crutches and it is doubtful if he will ever play again.
