Enjoyed it, did'nt give a shit who won what except that Peter Nicol got beaten. England did well, so did Scotland, even some little island in the middle of the Pacific with about 200 inhabitants won a medal. Pretty good to watch, especially the boxing

President Blair and his wife wi the big mouth getting soaked at the closing ceremony[ she had her poly coat on]. Also the soldier who presented the flag on the podium did a stamp of attention in a puddle and soaked the wee pompous guy receiving the flag, pished myself at that

Get Scotland into the Olympics now and give all our sportsmen and women a chance to compete for their own country at the very highest level, the fact they were representing Scotland has come through from all our medal winners as a major driver.
Alas it won't be happening, at least not in time for Athens. Team GB, like the Mummy, will return. Obviously everyone at the CG ejoyed representing England, Scotland and Wales much more than they do representing Britain - so maybe being forced back into Team GB, under that tired old flag, will only heighten people's feelings. Hope so anyway, cause apart from that it ain't gonna be much fun at all.
