First game must have been around 1969. †Old man and Old Lady took me to Hampden to give me the pleasure of seeing us losing 1-0 to them. †Can't remember much about it as I was very small at the time. †I do remember three things.
1.Alan Ball scored for them
2.Bobby Moore was being quizzed about his sexual preferences
3.I was passed down the front by the crowd and they made a space to let the Old Lady through with me
but my Old Man didn't see a kick of the ball
Come to think of it, †I do remember it.

I'll bet there were some unsolved robberies in Glasgow around that weekend.

Sorry guys... this is quite pointless. The TA in Glasgow will obviously have been to more games as almost all of our home games, with a few exceptions, have been played there. So Ďdouble pointsí for the travelling home-game TA.
Away games? A mixtures of finances, availiability of time off work, family pressures etc. Full marks to the TA who have chalked up over 20 or 30 away games but no shame on those who havenít Ė itís hard explaining to your so-called better half that you are spending at least £1,000 in some cases on seeing Scotland play a game they are more than likely going to lose, as I am sure many will agree
Having said that, itís been good to read of memories from everyone - old and young. After all, these games are what sparked our all-consuming desire to come back for more... win, lose or draw.
Old-timerís disease has set in with me and I shamefully canít remember my first game, but I reckon it was a low-key affair against either Wales or Northern Ireland in the early70s. Most memorable game was beating Spain when Mo scored two and Kenny scored a curling cracker. One of the all-time great Scotland performances.
I just hope the younger TA guys, and gals, and the older ones too, get to experience anything as good, if not better in the future...
I hate to be a cynic, but donít hold your breath...

Basically some twit posted the names of certian players on our board. Some search engines picked this up, and pointed everyone to our site. the 2 threads before they were closed had been viewed 11,000 times. Basically the board melted.
We are taking steps so that this does not happen again. What should we do with the particular User? Over to the mods I think!

Any idea how long these seach engines will keep the link valid? †Say they keep their links open for a week - the board could be shagged till then.

No Lurker, I'm not really interested in the players involved, I meant who was daft enough to put it onto a site - especially a site where you don't have real anonymity.
