Did anyone see the game the other night and can comment on his performance? Sounded like he missed a few chances but otherwise did OK.

Same story as always... blew hot and cold... hit the wood work and put himself about, but also missed a few easier chances. Still needs to be more consistent.
Michael Stewart was good for Forrest though.

The commentator's seemed to be bemoaning the quality of service to Kyle.  The two chances he missed, if anything he hit the ball too well.  He had a header that went straight at the keeper and the shot that hit the post, if it'd gone in off the post instead of rebounding, you would be talking about a great goal.

He does seem to be getting into the positions, but I'd take a lucky striker over an unlucky one any day .

He had Sunderlands two best attempts on goal...a shot that hit post and a header that the keeper caught.
Sunderland were VERY poor....but only time will tell how Kyle will do, now that the likes of Flo and Philips are away.

Kylie should have buried his 2nd chance, a lot of time, and loads of space.

His first chance that hit the post was a reasonable effort, and if it had gone in it would have been a cracking goal (Ifs, buts, mebbes.....) - but to be fair to him, I think he plays with too much pressure on his shoulders, and that he lacks confidence. Hopefully a few goals in the 1st will give him that.  All in all, the big man worked hard but with bugger all to show for it.

Michael Stewart did ok for Forest. You could see that he was lacking match practice but he looked comfortable. Sunderland were mince against a Forest team not at 100%. I think Big Mick taking 21 players down on Saturday and nobody knowing who was starting & where, really didnt help.

Oh but for Marvellous Marlon Harewood to have been born 300 miles north
