i KNOW IT'S PROBABLY SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SFA NOT BEING ABLE TO POST THE TICKETS OUT IN TIME.
BUT I'M NOT IN NORWAY FOR THAT LONG AND HATE HAVING TO LEAVE THE PUB TO GO AND FIND SOME POSH HOTEL AND COLLECT MY TICKET.
THIS INVOLVES PUB, PASSPORT, TRAVEL CLUB CARD, PUB
FAR TO COMPLICATED FOR ME! AND I'M VERY LIKELY TO LOSE SOMETHING ON ROUTE PROBABLY MY PASSPORT.

I spoke to the STC yesterday, and tickets will apparently also be available to collect from outside the ground before the game.

Im a silly kunt i lost mine going to Lithuania but it had nothing to do with picking up tickets.

STC card and letter with ticket Ref No. should be enough, but the letter states"bring your passport"

Haven't got the letter yet, so didn't know that. I think they used to say STC card or passport?
I just take my STC card, buggered if I'm carrying my passport in case I lose it and end up stranded in a country of £5 pints!

Spoke to Angela at Hampden regarding Oslo yesterday! She said that she would remember my face, so I didn't need to take anything when collecting my ticket. However more worryingly she said that they were considering giving everyone vouchers for Germany which could then be exchanged in Dortmund, on proof of identity, for match tickets!

At my work I could very easily scan my stc card, superimpose someone elses photo, and print a duplicate card with a mates photo... (If for instance I couldn't manage a particular trip, and found a mate to use my ticket and boost my points).
It's not so easy to do that with a passport.
I'll be taking my passport, stc card and letter. After all, I've always managed to get through airports without losing them...
Do you guys all wear gloves joined with string up your sleeves so you don't lose one??

I think the STC are going way over the top with this, whats your STC card for if they don't trust its not a fake and you have to carry you bleeding passport around with you? Your STC card and letter should be more than enough, if not the the cards are a just waste of time.

the pick up tickets at destination policy is the only way to discourage the q jumping for big games & the tosser who has been advertising germany - scotland tickets (stc section) on e-bay.

They've had this at quite a few games now. Usually been pretty good fun actually finding the place then meeting up with guys you haven't seen for months....Faroe and Portugal were good anyway! Be much better if they had it in a bar though!
They haven't gone by the book in the past as far as passports, letters, cards etc goes....but that is maybe down to STC staff knowing faces. Pleading ignorance always works!
On the whole the policy is sensible. Presumably ATAC were informed when they decided to stop posting out. It stops people applying for tickets and not using them...thereby building up "loyalty" for when it comes to getting tickets for the big games at later dates.
Makes me feel guilty about the Croatia ticket I bought and never used!!
