GET A LIFE!!!

Got my ticket form for Germany in today.
Don,t know about anyone else but there,s about ten of us who all go to the games together and try to get seats together. We,re from all over Britain and usually someone will order all the tickets on the same form, someone else will book the hotel etc: Exactly how are you meant to get everything photocopied and all together to be sent from the same address in a week?.
Make that six days as there,s no mail on a Sunday.
Also, one of our group is on holiday at the moment and I,m sure he,s not the only TAMB member who will come back, open up his envelope and realise that he,s got to send it back(yesterday) or he won,t get a ticket!.
Is,nt July/August the busiest period for holidays ?.

In the same boat KTA, one of oor guys gets back on the 9th from Holiday.

Its almost like they want to make it as difficult as possible to get a valid ticket.

Got to agree.

One of our group was leaving to go on holiday today and had to sit and wait for the postie before setting off. If it hadn't arrived today then he wouldn't have got it until the 15th Aug.

There seems to be no logic in the new system and considering it's the holiday period it's a farce. The previous system wasn't broken so why 'fix' it.

SFA please note

What do you expect them to do. It was only confirmed a a couple of weeks ago how many tickets we were getting. They dont have any option but to send them out now.

aye..........its pure shite. My pal goes to most games with his lad (though none of the away qualifiers) yet they only sent the one ticket. Whats the point in sending one!

And I've read several posts on here where people  that always travel together have only been given one ticket!

So the winning formula appears to be
FORGET going to home games to try to accrue points, just apply for one less popular away game with a small allocation(i.e. Iceland),and you'll be guaranteed a big away game ticket.Whether you actually planned to go to Iceland or not!!!

Well lets face it, all the hardcore TA use their holidays for trips so won't have any problem. It's only the "big game hunters" who are sunning themselves on the costas just now, so if they miss the deadline it's no great loss...

C Mc.,  There'll always be moaning c**ts, and as per this post you normally find it's the ones who only go to the big games.

I feel sorry for those who have attended previous campaigns and have lost out this time as they were unable to go to any of the 3 qualifiers.

However I have no time for the self pitying "its no fair I went to Brussells and I still didn't get a ticket" brigade.

All the SFA are doing is ensuring those who follow the team to the less glamourous locations of the world are looked after.

No problem with that at all.

I was away last week, and I left my mother in law with a key.

Surely you all know someone you can trust.

Everyone knew the ticket forms would be coming out about this time, so why is there no preparation.

Do yis honestly reckon because your heart pumps like crazy when scotland walk onto a pitch and been to every game ever with your best mate, that the SFA should just ignore all the red tape and send you the tickets direct, seat you together before you ask, and charge your card automatically because you always go, there is no need to ask.

I had all my info to hand.

but no ticket yet.  Next time I will organise fork all.  get a ticket and moan like fek because the SFA should have known i'm not organised.  As i have just typed it now.

AK.....I have to agree with you there.  I was disappointed not to receive a ticket as I have been to about 25 away games including Iceland (but not through SFA!)  but I can have no complaints as the method used to allocate tickets seems pretty fair for the vast majority.  Those such as myself who were unsuccessful are in the fortunate position for this game that there are a great number of spare tickets already circulating and should have no problem getting in.
To save me from reading all threads for the past 3 months has there been any word from the German authorities as to whether they will admit tartan clad fans into the "wrong" ends?

FFS! How long did you spend on the phone to this "unhelpful old bint"? Multiply that by "hundreds of people asking the same thing."

They've got 8,000 or so of these tickets to sort out. Have you any kind of idea how much work is involved in that? They are doing their best, and people like you make their job ten times harder...
