Fresh ideas

Can anyone please help and tell me the name of the tartan that the players wore on the opening day of World Cup 1998??  Or if anyone has a picture please post a link to the picture.  Any help would be much appreciated as I am to be getting married in 6 weeks and would really like to have this tartan.

Try contacting the SFA info@scottishfa.co.uk

I have a photo but it was taken from so far back there is no chance of making out what it is.

I'm sure the tartan was mentioned in the match reports the day after the game, (were they not donated by some brewery or other?), so you might get the details from The Mitchell Library if you're in Glasgow and don't mind trawling the pages. I've had a look on the internet without any success, The Record doesn't appear to have an archive section, the Herald does, and I got as far as accessing the report, but you have to pay for it. So I'll leave that up to you Macster!! Have a great wedding.
