Cannae find the thread which was speculating what Barry Ferguson would drop out for this time, but heard on the radio this morning that he's doubtful after injuring his foot yesterday.
Strange how he hurt it early on but managed to play the rest of the game nae bother.
If he doesnae want to play for us, he should at least have the decency to say and let someone else get into the team.
Don't know why Berti's wasting his time on him.

Surprise surprise.
How many more chances is he going to get? If he pulls out this time, it should be his last inclusion in the squad, no matter how good he is.

Tough choice for Berti! Does he tell his best player to **** off? I think if Hutchison was fit it would make his choice easier.
When was the last time the wee shite played a game for Scotland?

Blinkin flip. I'm bitterly disappointed that he is on the verge of not playing, although he says he wants to join up with the squad.
I can only wonder what Herr Vogts thinks of the current situation, but if he can take pain killing injections for the 'Gers, why not for Scotland?

Very disappointed by this.
You could tell it was manufactured for the tv, the fake anguish on his chops, hobbling to the side and having ice dramatically packed around his ankle. Soon afterwards he was taking a penalty.
How else are the team supposed to learn how to play around him if he avoids friendlies? If he ain't in the Faroes squad he should be dropped by Bertie.

You can see what has been said here
How many of us instantly thought to ourselves 'thats him not playing on wednesday then?' Very disappointed, I thought it was an honour to play for your country.

I'm sure Berti won't be afraid to invoke the rule about not playing for your club at the weekend if Ferguson does pull out. At least that might force a rethink next time.

I don't know how many games he's now pulled out of and each time I'm disappointed then angry.
I've a terrible memory and can't even remember the last time he played.
Yes, he'd be boost to the squad/team, but if he's missed the last 6 or so games, we're not really missing him if Berti tells him to do one.
'COS HE'S NEVER FUC£IN' THERE ANYWAY !

Footsoldier, I didn't know there was such a rule.
I agree, use it and shake things up a wee bit. What's the point in having such rule if it's not used, especially in blatant cases like this !

Not sure if it was the last time he played, but the last game I remember him playing was at home against Belgium. He missed the sitter which would have made it 3-0, then shortly afterwards was taken off "injured".

If he doesn't play for my country on Wednesday then he should not be allowed to play against my team at the weekend.
It's only fair - there looked **** all wrong with him to me.

Baheid Ferguson should not be picked again for Scotland. In any other job the amount of sickies he's had would have got him sacked. He was in the Sunday Herald saying he wanted to play and it was all just bad luck. Yeah right. We wont suddenly become world beaters with him so let's call it quits now whilst the National Side can retain some dignity.

"injured" - Hmm ?
I don't get the impression that Bazza is a wee shrinking violet and gets hurt at the least wee touch. Not judging by the way he tackles and puts himself about
( impressive by the way ).
So it's back to commitment again. Is he willing to put himself on the park with a slight niggle, as he would do for his employers, but for his country ?
Personally, I don't think he give's a stuff about his National Team and continuing to be named in the squad will keep adding to his value. That's probably why he's never said. " I'm not playing for Scotland again".
Right that's enough for me. 2 solpadenes and a lie down in the medical room with the curtains closed !
It just really annoys me when people don't have full commitment to their country. Especially when they have a gift and don't want to use it to help Scotalnd.

If he has pulled out (have heard that McCann is also pulling out and Lovenkrands might withdraw from denmark squad) Berti should invoke the FIFA rule and BAN him from playing in Rangers' next game.

Aye, good point. If Ferguson and McCann are pulled out then there is no way they should be allowed to play in Rangers next league match. Not least 'cos it's against the Dons

Assuming the game is on - will the Dons have enough fit players left to field a team?

If this is true regarding both McCann and Lovenkrands, both Vogts and Moller-Neilsen should invoke the Five day rule and every other time that this may happen.
It was refreshing to read that Martin O'Neill rested Paul Lambert on Saturday as he knew he would be playing for Scotland on Wednesday night. I do not want to start a long debate on the Old Firm nonsense, but it is beginning to look like Rangers have a hidden agenda.

He's a class player, that we can ill afford to lose, but if he doesn't want to play he should just admit it. Fully agree that he should not play for the huns this weekend.
