Have just seen the scenes of flooding in Prague on the BBC website. Could it be that Club Lavka, the nightclub on the river, where hunnerds of TA winched American mid western students and Tam Coyle got a knock back is no more?
More than a little disappointed if this is the case.

Don't like being the bearer of bad news and all that but I just saw a big close up of what looked like an entrance to Club Lavka on the news.
Top of a big white archway with "Club Lavka" painted above it with water right up to about a foot below the very top of the arch!!

aye,club lavka,only been cleaned out of vodka twice ne natural disaster & one tartan army.btw,since when has pittsburgh been the mid-west?

Never made it to club Lavka after "winching" a local early doors , but two mid-West students did duly arrive at the hotel with the two of the other boys at about 4am. From what I heard you couldn't afford to go to the toilet in there or your new girlfriend would have been hijacked by a well meaning fellow footsoldier by the time you got back!
