CUFC, I think that the English fans oot in Japan did do themselves proud, and behaved, personally i'd be surprised if there were 10,000+ when they panned the crowd at England games 70%+ of the fans were japanese!
As for there being a minority of Eng-ur-lund fans being thugs... thats maybe so..... but you lot seem to attract them in the first place ( including a lot of Rangers casuals, i must add! who are **** ), and it wasna the minority that rioted in Landsdown road a few years back, was it?
Maybe's its time the so called "decent fans" sorted out there own bad element.

Mibbe Robbo if there's only a few of them. But whit can ye dae when there's lots? There's the odd erse that follaes Scotland and aw. Some ae them look like right mean bastas. A widnae challenge them masel for fear ae gettin a doin.
And that's at a Scotland game where the large majority are decent. Imagine that an at England game where's there's some real heidcases running aroond. I know I widnae react. Has to come from the top down initially (travel club, rules, ticketing, legislation, etc) so you can get the nutters into a tiny minority then some self-policing could occur coz you know you'd get support aff the decent fans who are in the majority. Like what we do to control our nutters.
If I was English I widnae go coz of the trouble potential til it was sorted. I know folk say that's giving in and I agree it is. So what? A realisitc threat of getting yer heid kicked in or getting lifted. No thanks.

cufc..this is not, i repeat not a forum for e***** knucklescraping attitudes..if you continue to clog up our board with your inane flatulence..then yellow cards must be in order. as i've said before, the only reason e***** fans (which i've always seriously doubted you are anyway) are permitted to add to this SCOTTISH board (one of the few forums when we can all talk about OUR nation, without interference), is when they add to the general high spirits and good banter. however, when you become smarmy and offensive (previous bollix posted here), you do not deserve the privilege of addressing us. you are only here for the entertainment of the board..try to remember that...

Thing is its never going to sort its sell oot......... and even when they do leave the so called guilty thousand ( i reckon there's far mare o them than that! ) behind they end up kicking off in there home towns against anyone who has a remote connection with the team that's just gubbed them ( go on ronaldinho ....yeh wee dancer! ) or is scottish!! ( nae that we'd be takin the piss! )

Jam, you've hit the nail on the head there. It IS a minority but that doesn't mean one person can go and stop the idiots. Sure, the majority of England fans are normal people but to effectively stop the nutters from causing trouble that majority would have to organise and act as a single unit - very unlikely, as a lot of those who follow England will have seen the consequences of getting on the wrong side of these morons.
But it won't stop me from going. On two occasions I have had mates arrested (Charleroi and Munich) and a few times I've had hasssle from locals/police. But those drawbacks can't detract the fact that I've had some of the best times of my life following England abroad. What news reports and sensationalist documentaries do not show are the thousands of English fans who travel abroad and mix peacefully with the locals, having a great time. But that is exactly what most England fans do.

I happen to personally think that you are a closet England fan who is only intent on causing trouble and dragging the good name of Scottish football through the mud. had English friends who stopped going to their home games because of the nutters
hope they continue the good behaviour, but dont get too upset when people talk of the hooligans, still fresh in the memory.
there were also outbreaks on a minor scale in most English cities and towns after the Brazil game, not reported as football related, just folk drunk and upset

I agree, unfortunately these attitudes are expressed by the Scots on the board. CUFC can sometimes be a pain in the ar5e due to his leg pulling, but it should be taken as "banter". It certainly stops me taking myself too seriously at times.
CUFC has taken a lot of ignorant foul mouthed criticism on this board and generally responds with sarcastic humour, but in an articulate manner. If you don't like it ignore it. This is a public forum.
For the record, CUFC is invited along to the Denmark game to experience the "World's Friendliest Fans" face to face. Reading this thread makes me wonder if we really deserve this accolade.

However, Shangalang takes particular pleasure it seems in his wind-up/spat with CUFC. I for one enjoy that particular feud and don't think the, albeit, extreme remarks are meant entirely seriously.
