i went tae a shop in bluewater the other day, and bought the new scotland top to take to my mum, who lives in cyprus, and the cheeky wee get on the till says "not a wise move buying one of them is it??" i could have battered him!!!!

Having just moved down to London, the flags are well getting on my t**s.
Whats even worse is working for a scottish bank and having the flag hanging from the window. I reckon I will stay late tonight and rip the thing down!

To be honest, the flags down here, many of which are Irish, just make me very jealous that we are not there. Its even worse when you think that countries like Denmark and Ireland are half our size and are doing so well.
I just hope that when we start the Euro 2004 campaign, the experienced guys we'll need to carry the younger boys through, don't desert us, cause we sure as hell will need them.

Funnily enough, Sweden are starting to look lke a fairly decent bet. Senegal, then probably Japan or Turkey in the 1/4 's.....hmmmm. Add that to the fact that they're all big massive fuqers and they must have a reasonable shout.

I jist think its funny, they cannae beat Sweden or Nigeria(world beaters that they are) and scab a win v the worst Argentina team I have ever seen and they think they are gonna win the World Cup... funny, very funny... cannae fuQin wait!

Those little flags are bloody irritating but if we there I suppose we would all be doing the same.
It is nice for once to see the English actually acknowledge that the union flag is not English but British (covering 3 other countries)which up until the last few years they did not seem to understand. Maybe they will eventually get their own anthem as well.
As for the `irritating little flags` - they will come down very quickly when their team is `found out`which will be soon. I have a Denmark top from France 98 which I swapped for my Scotland top so it might have to go for a walk to the pub on Saturday.

Jut happens to be a favourite of theirs, particularly in the last few weeks.
I am a quarter Irish, with family on both sides of the border so say what i like about the subject.
If you were in Dublin there were plenty of Irish who were not the most hospitable and were raising certain subjects.
Not for this board definitely but the point was that touching another countries flag is a no-no in my book and for certain reasons gets my blood going.
Not trying to upset people, if that is the case, please accept my apologies.
