Someone better give spud directions to get there, as his sence of direction is hopeless.
He must have had about 500 marching behind him in Paris and managed to cause total chaos on a roundabout when he realised he didin't know where the tube station was and stoppped the march right slap bang in the middle of the roundabout, What a laugh, I was pishin myself wi laughter.
Funny thing was he turned round and asked me if I knew where we were going. I didn't have a clue either and neither did the marchers behind. Eveyone thought Spud knew the direction.

It says in today's DR that they are having an experiment on the JV show, as the TA will be supporting the engerpish. I heard that NOSTA are sending along a crowd for the show, Alan Duncan, wee Ar'fur etc. hope they choke on their beer !

TARTAN ARMY FACE CRUEL EXPERIMENT Jun 7 2002
THE Tartan Army's worst nightmare will come true today when they are forced to cheer for England against Argentina.
But they haven't switched sides - they've agreed to help out TV's Johnny Vaughan.
The comedian has challenged Scotland fans to switch support to the Auld Enemy for his BBC1 show, World Cup Extra.
The Globe pub, in Aberdeen, is the venue for the unusual experiment.
The Scots fans will be monitored by a psychologist who will explain the kind of emotions they face.
Manageress Donna Pyper, said: "I suspect there will still be a lot of support for Argentina in the pub. But the bar staff are all neutral - at least we'll pretend to be."
Producer Steven Gilfeather said: "We thought it would be great fun to see the pain and suffering they endure during the 90 minutes. We wonder if they'll be able to do it."
The show will be screened on Sunday night.
ARE THEY GONNA BE PUT IN ENGLAND TOP AND FORCED TO WAVE ST. GEORGE FLAGS ABOUT TOO????? THEY'RE GONNA GET A DOIN!!!!!!

It's all damn lies!
First they dive for a penalty - then they make up stories about the TA supporting Engerlund! (Well maybe it was the other way round, but its still lies!!!)
Spud the Piper, The World Champion Porridge Maker and the World Champion Caber Tosser were all wired up and supposedly supporting England. the rest of us were cheering for Argentina.
Can I just say that considering it was an England/Argentina game the TA had the best seats in the house reserved for us courtesy of Johnny Vaughan, and free beer!!!, whilst the England fans were all shoved up the back to buy their own beer and watch the game on a wee telly next to the gents....
Maybe "we" didn't win, but we still stuck it right up them - and drank all their beer money.
BTW spud didn't sell out. The Caber Tosser won the ignominious honour of being the biggest Engerlund fan. But mebbe that's not surprising, 'cos after the game he stripped off his kilt and was found to be wearing a pair of light blue shorts underneath - the big feckin jessie...
So, no Tom, we didnae choke on our free beer, and we didnae let the side down either.

Canna argue, it happens all the time but by the same token Hands of God should also be accepted. Canna have one rule for one and a different one for another.
The English commentators make ample play of the Agentinians propensity to dive and cheat and deny that "their boys" do. Now they need to stand up and be counted. The English do dive..... Mmmmmmm or is it the Welsh???????

Anyway back to the Spud The Piper Story. Did anyone see the programme? Im just in so I didnt see it. However on the way to the champions league final he was playing outside Hampden, and he promised he was going to make an appearance on the board soon!!! If anyone saw the programme, did he do us proud?
