Fair play, most are youngsters, but Weir, Dailly, Gemmill and Johnston arent.
Thats the worst defensive display Ive seen in a long time from Scotland.

Thats the problem civvyk, possibly Matteo when he comes back, but thats the second game Weir and Dailly have played together, and there doesnt seem to be any communication or understanding.
Thought Maurice Ross had a relatively good game on the left hand side though.

That was very hard to watch - unlike the French game which was almost a pleasure to 'suffer'.
No matter what team we put out, surely we shouldn't be getting hammered by Korea, or am I under-rating them?
Any positives from this game?

'T' - unless he played a blinder in the first half (which I didn't see), I can't see where Ross had a good game. Nobody had a good game in my view.
What we want is for players to be a team - but - Berti's chopping and changing won't do that on this tour.
Wait until the qualifiers, then we will see what type of a team we have.

Alexander should have been more aware of what was going on at the first goal - I'm not convinced about him yet.
Defence for the qualifiers should be Weir, Dailly and Matteo in a back three with Crainey left back and Ross right back with McNaughton just in front of him.
Gemmill to watch the qualifiers on telly or in the stand!

Ross played well one of the only ones who can hold there heads up high. I personally feel that Berti should give the likes of Barry wilson, John o,neill, Gavin Rae, Barry Nicholson a shot or a decent shot. These guys are relatively experianced pros who play first team football week in week out. I am not knocking the young lads who have come in but some of them don,t even figure in there own clubs first team.

Oh dear oh dear. It wasn't the score, it was the performance. We seem unable at the minute to do even the most basic things like control the ball. If the Koreans defend the way they did for our goal against a class team then they will get totally humped in the WC.

Fair enough Corkie, in the first half Ross was easily our best player (not sayin much) but he didnt play as well in the second.
Remember there is still Ferguson, Lambert, Burley, Matteo, McCann, Naysmith and Hutch to come back. Theres hope yet

And then England will beat the 5-0 in the friendly they will play in a week or so's time and we'll never hear the bloody end of it. Despite everything, 4-1 against South Korea is pretty pish for a major footballing nation like Scotland. Humped by France, Humped by Nigeria (after starting well) and now humped by South Korea. I was already thinking that South Africa would probably give us a kicking... it's how many the Hong Kong select gub us by that worries me the most. I'm actually wondering if I was wise to book up to travel out to watch what will probably be more of an experiement than a game of football.

saw the 2nd hauf... whit a difference between that and last night's Champion's League Finals - South Korea weren't even that good. Hope the boys can pull it together by the Euro qualifiers, but a long way to go on tonight's evidence.
