Apparently the Irish government are to put pressure on the GAA to get them to get rid of the antiquated rule about no other games at Croke Park by threatening the withdrawal of all future public funds if they don't comply.
Could have done that a wee while ago and saved aw the bother about Bertie's Bowl. Now, it's all working out beautifully for union jack - everythings going to plan.

Not quite,
I think The Jackal would prefer if Uefa decided against our bid rather than our bid not being made. Hence the pressure on the GAA now?
