Wales is there! As for the “youknowwho” there are flags of all European countries that would be playing in qualifications. Off course, “they” wouldn’t be qualified for the final tournament in Scotland.

Sorry, I thought ye’re talking about the flag. I didn’t draw that Map. It’s a copy from some Scottish website but I don’t remember which one.

Fresh ideas

For me (I'm Irish) spending all that money on a national stadium in Dublin is a waste of money.  We already have a world-class stadium at Croke Park, and if the government (they paid for the stadium after all) could put some pressure on the GAA then it could be opened up for soccer.  As well as that there's Lansdowne Road, which has a great location, tradition and atmosphere, and with a bit of a revamp could be an even better stadium.  I don't see why Dublin needs a National Stadium as well.

If the government did up Parc Ui Caoimh (also GAA) in Cork, and possibly did up one of the GAA stadiums in Limerick, Killarney or Thurles too - then, along with the two stadiums in Dublin we'd have four in total, and then we could have a proper Scotland/Ireland 2008 bid.  And it would work out a lot cheaper than building a huge, unneeded national stadium in Dublin.

As the bid stands now it's Scotland 2008 with a few matches in Dublin, which is fairly embarassing from an Irish viewpoint - but all credit to Scotland for getting a good bid together and asking us onboard.
