GET A LIFE!!!

Hello

If you go on to the GAA web site you can get a virtual tour of the stadium - looks not bad and I am sure it will be impressive when finished.

Fresh ideas

Due to be ready with a new surface in June, 80,000 capacity. The only place that will not have a stand is behind one goal. This is the famous "Hill 16" beloved of Dublin GAA followers. The GAA wants to build a stand there too but it's an emotional part of the ground for the Jackeens - basically where they like to stand and roar their county on. Let's hope the vote goes ahead to approve Corke Park's use for 2008. I think you'll then see the Irish people really get behind the bid from pols, celebs to the ordinary man in the street. If Croker isn't approved then things look a bit bleak. Nothing like living on the edge though - seems to be a "celtic/gaelic/scots/pictish/irish" thing!
