i'm going to puerto del carmen in lanzarote, anybody been there? can tell me what its like, and the best places to go and stuff.

I went 12 years ago. There was a nightclub called the Pink Pussy. That's all I can remember.

Was there last year with the now Ex Burd, No bad place plenty bars and great restaurants, some clubs but were full of kids. I would recommend it for Families and couples, but not for the lads.

I was there good few years back (8 or 9) and was also in the Pink Pussy.... errr.... so tae speak!
Not a bad place for a holiday, if I remember rightly.

I was there in the summer and as Scott says it is no bad for restaurants and bars, plenty of them, although I didn't go to any clubs (I'm too old for that carry on).
One thing I did find was that the drink isn't that cheap but there was the obligatory Scottish bar showing the crap Scottish fitba', along with countless others showing stuff that ye cannae miss like Eastbenders and Constipation Street.
Not a bad place, but although the pubs don't shut at 9 o'clock it is full of gays.

I was there last Sept. The main shopping area is like Blackpool in the sun! Try and get downto the old part of the town by the harbour, its really nice down that end and a couple of Scottish Bars down that end sell the old Irn Bru.
Don't get conned by people in the street offering deals on drinks for e.g buy one, get one free. Cause the one you buy to get one free is one w***** of expensive.
Get yourself on a bus trip to the National Park , its cool and definately worth a look.

Was there last year (to placate Mrs Thor) Wind blows constantly. Plenty o' boozers but they do tend to close early. If you are a nicotine junkie fags are dirt cheap. Enjoy.
