Has anyone else heard the rumour that we're off on a North American tour next summer? The story I heard was that the Canadians wanted to reciprocate our hospitality at the recently friendly with a return match, with perhaps a second game OR a three way tourney also involving the USA.
The timing, apparently, is dependant upon whether we've qualified for Portugal, it'll serve as a warm up for either that or the WC qualifiers.
If this rumour isn't true, then it should be. Play it Vancouver, and I can go and see Auntie Lil!
Anyone heard anything?

Well, we're not gonna know by next summer whether we've qualified for 2004 or not (hopefully!) so that cannae be right.
Pity, though...we could all have stayed at Hobbes' house

Sorry, TS, I meant summer 2004, in mid to late May if we're in Portugal, or whilst the finals are on if we're not.
You're absolutely right about next summer, there'll be no time to do anything else with the Germany game being as late as 7 June. We really are finished for the season then, Berti having turned down a date with Argentina.

Tut, tut Marky. I wouldn't know anything about that sort of thing! Now I read my post again I can see how important that comma is. Don't want folk getting ideas about me.
