Can anyone confirm for definate that it is possible to pay at the gate at the HK stadium?
Tried phoning the Travel Club but I only got a recorded message. Pain in the ass when I am living out here & I dont want to turned away on Monday afternoon

This was posted previously hope it helps....... but before you get to it can you let me know some local knowledge - what is the crack if you want a day trip into China when in HK - I have been too lazy to arrange a visa, can you get them out there and where?, are they necessary? and are they dear?.

If you want a day trip into mainland China (which I advise as HK & the mainland are 2 different planets!) you will have to apply for a visa in Hk which will take 2 days to process. You can do this from any travel agency in HK, try

it very easy to find & they are very helpful.
Only one thing about the mainland that might be a problem, the language! very little people speak English
Hope I can buy tickets at the stadium on Monday as I cannot get down to HK!
Have a nice fligh over....its a bloody killer! Keep drinking alcohol & ye might just avoid the jetlag!
