Ma heid's burstin', bry!!!! Too many usernames!!!
For Edinburgh departures, I'm suggesting an 8:30 gathering at Spiders Web and the 9:00 train, giving us time for one in the Iron Horse before we head off.
Mind you can get discounts on your train tickets if you get them together (3 for the price of 2 I think) - if they still do that anyway.
Is 8:30 too early for the Kingdom contingent?

Where's the web
Almost Kingdom my self since I'll rely on one of their trains.
Cooper's (Waverly) or the Heb would be better for me - only if it's open.

Call-offs are getting ridiculous, folks, and we are now down to 19, which means the fare will be £55, which I don't think is fair(as it were), as I told everyone that it would be around £25-30.
I'm still up for going, and we will be a small but legendary band, but I need everyone else to confirm by noon Wed by Tamb phone or E-mail or I will have to cancel, which, incidentally, is going to cost me money.
Cheers,
Ian

Ian,
I am a definite. If there's no bus, I may even drive myself. Anyone out there who isn't already going, please sign up. The Austria game was magic and I can't wait to outsing the Welsh at Merthyr Tydfil.

Thanks folks, it occurs to me, a trifle belatedly, that at this price and with this much space, we could all take someone along for free. With two or three to a room it would cost buttons to put them up. Generosity time for the pensioners, the weans, the skint and the needy.
What do you think?

That's fair enough, Ian.
Though cost really isn't the issue with some folk though. I'd take someone along if I could find someone who doesn't wet themselves at the prospect of going all the way to Wales for a burds' fitba game.
If only they knew what they were missing.....

Folks, I really, REALLY want to go and cheer on the girls, but there's absolutely no way I can afford it, the way things are going!
If there's only 19 of us, can't we get a smaller bus?

Ah Sammy,
come anyway and pay what you can afford. All the wee buses are taken at this point, or we would be going on one. We've got tons of room, dedicated maniacs, and a legend to make.
Gooooooo.....!! Scotland. And we will win.
If we don't, or even if we do, I will buy everyone on the bus a drink of their choice. And then it's their turn.
Cheers,
Ian

Sammy,
Withdrawal is not an option. We'll hunt down and string up anyone who dares to pull out at this stage. I know a couple of shady characters who may have nothing better to do this weekend so I'm off to talk them in to it.
There's over 1200 members on this board. Where's the interest? I'm appalled.

More Than Words |
Ian,
following the thread on the General site I'm sending you a cheque for £10 for two seats on sunnys magical mythological bus...
Sooz and myself will be there in spirit if not in person.
Anybody still weighing it up get it sorted now. This trip to Wales will go down in history as one of the greatest/daftest TA trips ever. DON'T MISS OUT!!!
We'd be there, but we've got previous commitments.

Right, I want to take this opportunity to thank Sacks & Dianne who have kept me in touch with things while I was at work (they won't give me Net access, the b*stards!)
Secondly, I have re-considered my tight-fisted outlook, cleaned my kilt, and flexed my drinking arm!
All aboard, who's coming aboard!
