At the time I said all the fans could do was make their support known and make sure there was no trouble at any games anywhere. BUT that the real problem would be getting reliable guarantees on stadia. We've all heard promises after promises after promises over the years about stadium developments from Aberdeen to Dundee to Edinburgh to Cambuslang and time and again fans have been royally shafted by the people in charge. Well, surprise surprise, here we are once again. What a bunch of fuing chancers!! They must have known what the financial realities of this were when they signed up and got behind the bid. And as for the GAA? What a bunch of complete and utter joyless cts. They would deny thousands of people in their own country and owrs the joy of having this kind of sporting spectacle on their doorstep (not to mention the money that would be brought in) just through sheer, bloody-minded blinkered stubborness and refusal to see beyond their own narrow minds. Even from a self-interest point of view you'd think they would see the potential benefits in raising their own profile. I can't see how scuppering possibly this bid's last chance would increase their popularity at home for fu**s sake!!!! :cussing::cussing::cussing::cussing::cussing::cussing:
